The Creekside Eagles Fun Run is COMING SOON! This is the Creekside PTA’s ONLY big fall fundraiser this year, so we hope you’ll help encourage your Eagle(s) to get excited about working with friends and family to support our great school.
The Eagles Fun Run is a 9-day program that kicks off with a Pep Rally during the school day on Wednesday, September 21st. Then families will have time to collect pledges for the laps (usually 30-35) your student will run on the Fun Run track at Creekside on Friday, September 30th. All students will participate in the program and receive a Creekside Eagles Fun Run t-shirt to show their Creekside Pride. Our big goal this year is to raise funds for classroom libraries and field trips, so once again we have asked the experts at Boosterthon to power our Fun Run to make it more profitable, easier, and FUN.
During the program, students will experience an amazing new character theme, BACKYARD BOX OFFICE! It’s a movie theme all about making a difference by getting into character. Our students will learn from five REAL kid difference-makers. From inventors, to world-class speakers, to business owners, to world-record holders, these five kids will inspire our students to practice the five “Character Acts” and make a difference in our community.
This FUNdraiser requires no buying or selling or distributing, and the students really enjoy learning about the character theme and getting active with their friends. Donations will help improve classroom libraries and field trips and provide 9-days of activity and excitement for our students. The Boosterthon Fun Run experience has been a great success at Creekside in the past, so please help our school continue to reach it’s goals by working with your child to contact sponsors. And don’t forget…all families are invited to come out and celebrate with our Eagles at the Fun Run on September 30th.
