There are a lot of great things happening this
week at the Creek… and all month long!
We had our first collection count day today and we are thrilled to announce we have collected over 80% of the pledges your student(s) earned! That is a GREAT start!! Thank you to everyone that submitted their payment! Please make every effort to submit the remainder of your pledges by Wednesday, October 19.
(The PTA is covering the $2 convenience fee ordinarily charged when making an on-line payment, so it’s FREE to pay online!!! )
Please feel free to pass this newsletter along to any Creekside Families you think might like to “be in the know” and encourage them to sign up using the following link: http://eepurl.com/cdKE-b

Open PTA Postions…
Yearbook Committee – Looking for a few people who can work with our current committee to help put the Creekside Yearbook together towards the end of the year. Please email Brooke Dever at firstname.lastname@example.org
Shoe Box Program Coordinator – We have partnered with the World Wear Project and are collecting wearable shoes for repurposing and as a green effort to keep them out of landfills. We need someone to be a point person for this project which would entail occasionally checking on the contents of the Shoe Box and letting the World Wear Project know when the box is full and ready for pickup (prepaid labels provided). The commitment would be very minimal (10-15 minutes each month) www.worldwearproject.com
If you are interested in leading this project, please contact Erica Libertore email@example.com
Tech-Savvy Individuals Needed The PTA would like to be as paperless as possible. We need individuals who can assist in creating Google Docs, maintaining our website, and general tech-y tasks. The commitment would be minimal and could be done via text or email. This might be a perfect position for a working parent who otherwise may not have time to volunteer. Please contact Erica Libertore at firstname.lastname@example.org if interested.
