We hope you had a wonderful summer and are settling nicely into your routines for the new school year.

5:30pm in the Creekside Media Center.

Missed the Odyssey of the Mind Interest Meeting?
It’s not too late to learn more and sign up!

What is OM? By tapping into creativity, and through encouraging imaginative paths to problem-solving, students learn skills that will provide them with the ability to solve problems — great and small — for a lifetime. The Odyssey of the Mind program is an extra-curricular program that takes place outside of school hours. It teaches students how to think divergently by providing open-ended problems that appeal to a wide range of interests. Students learn how to identify challenges and to think creatively to solve those problems.

School Beautification Day!

Please come out and help us clean up the Creekside grounds on Saturday, September 16 from 2pm-5pm. We will spread some new mulch, kill weeds, plant some fall flowers and pick up trash.

Bring your own garden tools and gloves.
Pitch forks and shovels would be helpful.

We’ve added new car magnets ($3.00 or 2 for $5.00) and cinch sack backpacks (only $5.00!) and we have short-sleeved Creekside t-shirts available in all youth and adult sizes, even kids’ x-small! Spirit wear items purchased through the online store will be delivered to your child’s classroom, and we’ll have the same items available for purchase at several of the upcoming school events.

Box Top Collection starts THIS FRIDAY!!! Look for Mrs. Tyrell and her cart full of goodies in the hallway outside the main office.

Science Olympiad (grades 3-5) interest meeting will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 19 at 5:30 PM in the Creekside Media Center.
