WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO MAKE THIS CARNIVAL A SUCCESS!!!
Volunteering to run a game booth is a great way for parents to help out in a fun and easy way. This is also the perfect way for middle or high school students to receive 3.5+ hours of Volunteer Credit.
Please look through the list of games and see how you might be able to help.

IT’S TIME FOR THE 2018 SPRING CARNIVAL RAFFLE!
$1 per Ticket – $10 for a book of 10
***Our goal is for EVERY Student to sell at least 10 Tickets***
(more tickets are available from your student’s teacher – just ask!)
Top Raffle Ticket Seller (entire school) wins a $100 Target gift card
2nd Place Top Seller (entire school) wins a $50 Target gift card
Top Class per Grade with the most students selling 10 or more tickets wins a POPCORN PARTY!!!
Top Overall Class (most tickets sold) for the school wins an ICE CREAM SUNDAE PARTY!!!
Selling 30 Tickets = Free Play Wristband for Carnival Games and Rides!!!

Our spelling bee champion Kahaan Khatri competed on Saturday, March 17th against 59 other students from Orange County, Durham County, and Chapel Hill – Carrboro schools in the Duke Regional Spelling Bee. He hung in there through multiple rounds, finishing sixth overall out of the 60 kids participating. He competed against kids as old as 13 and in 8th grade and was one of the last two elementary students eliminated.
He did so very, very well! We are so proud!
The makeup days for snow days for the week of weather we had have been announced… the following days were previously early release days and are now full days:

May 9
June 8 (NEW Last day of School – Early Release Day)
